Rockstarz Clinic’s workshops allow kids to learn about a specific area of music in a very focused way. Here are a few of our example workshops:

Punk 101: Punk through the ages
Students will learn about the history of punk by looking at key players and bands of the punk music scene. Students will examine the key components of punk music, and lean what makes the style. |
Song Writing:
Students will learn about songs and how they are structured. By looking at popular songs, students will learn basic verse and chorus song foms. Students will then as a group create and record their own basic song. |

Essentials of Recording:
Students will learn how to create professional sounding recordings using their home computer. They will learn how to use industry leading software, Audacity. Copies of the software will be distributed to participants free of charge. |
